Carolyn has had a personal practice of TRE® for twenty years because she realized she needed to process stress and trauma through her body at a nervous system level, long before talking about the nervous system became mainstream in the wellness world. She became a certified TRE® provider in 2020-2021, and has since taught hundreds and hundreds of people this simple, effective method. The most common things people say after the experience is that they feel peaceful, calm, and released/lighter.
TRE® used by Navy Seals (and regular people all over the world) to help with chronic pain, mobility, trauma relief and insomnia. If you’ve been curious about TRE®, this is a rare opportunity for a live guided experience of the method.
This experience is ideal for people who are curious about somatic practices and self-regulation—not because something is broken, but because something in you is ready to reconnect.
Vibe: Wear workout clothes/may get a little sweaty. Think fatiguing your legs while upright with some squats and then lying down on your back on your bed or a yoga mat. You’ll be basking in chill “Sunday vibes” on a physiological level.
Afterwards: My intention is for you to have a body-led experience, increase self-awareness and self-compassion, and feel rebalanced like you got a massage from the inside out.
Please note this participatory masterclass is for age 18+. Contraindications for TRE are epilepsy, seizures, schizophrenia, or if you are currently pregnant. It’s a safe and effective method for most people. Please reach out with any questions!

Tension Releasing Exercises (TRE®) is a simple yet powerful body-based method that calms your nervous system and releases deep muscular patterns of stress and tension. The TRE practice helps you activate the primal reflex of tremoring. Tremoring or shaking/vibrating is an instinct in every mammal, and it's a helpful way to discharge the cascade of stress hormones or release your backlog of stored stress. TRE is a safe and effective stress release technique for most people, and can be complementary to talk therapy or other somatic work.
